I studied Translation and Interpreting and specialized in interpreting for English and Spanish.
I started my career in 2005, and always try to enrich my work with a personal approach: I pay great attention to my voice and to the musicality of each language. A meaningful detail that accompanies my services.
I specialise in social and human sciences, social and labour policies, environment and ecology, but I never stop learning and training: I attend specific training courses and events, to keep improving and refining my terminology and knowledge.
I value networking and I love sharing my views with professional colleagues to maintain a high quality in our profession. I am committed to achieving the best results in terms of interpreting, interpreters and customer satisfaction.

Interpreting
Interpreting is the oral translation of a speech. Several techniques can be applied; we will decide together which is the best suited for our needs:

Translations
I translate written texts into Italian, my mother tongue, or “target language”.
I also provide sworn and certified translations, proofreading and editing of texts in Italian or in a foreign language. If the file is an audio or a video document, I can provide the transcription and translation of the document.

Language support
I support technical and sales offices in drafting administrative and commercial documents, or texts and manuals in a foreign language.
Language courses
I have a long experience in teaching English in companies, language schools and public bodies, for ESF courses, courses for employees, General or Business English. In addition to this offer, I teach Italian to foreign learners.
About me
Conference interpreter and translator
I still remember my first translation.
As I child, I found a pocket Spanish dictionary. I took pen and paper and, after writing a sentence in Italian, I began to translate it, word for word, into Spanish. In that case, a completely invented Spanish
Later I learned that translations do not really work like that, but I think that was the moment I felt the spark that made me choose and then fall in love with this job.
My urge to do everything, and to do it well, has pushed me to specialize in interpreting, a profession in which promptness and attention are essential, and in which I can immediately see, or rather feel, the results of my work.
English is my favourite language.
In teaching, especially to adults, I love to convey its complex simplicity, to light the spark also in my students.
My other working languages are Dutch and Spanish, in particular in translation.
Being a freelance, I am independent, but I believe in teamwork and networking with other professionals: a central aspect to the success of a translation, or a conference.
CODE OF PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
It is the task of translators and interpreters to ensure written and oral communication between speakers of different languages. They shall work in the interests of peace, security, justice, health, well-being and the economic, scientific and cultural development of peoples.
